Christmas Song Game

A Christmas Song Game is a fun game for large groups, such as family reunions at Christmas time. There are two games listed; one for teams and one for pairs of players. Age: All ages

No. of players: Large groups

Equipment: One kazoo and one slide-whistle (available from most music stores); song sheets of Christmas carols to sing

Time: 10 minutes+

Aim: To play a Christmas carol on the instruments.

#1. THIS IS MUSIC?
1. Divide everyone into pairs.

2. One pair is given the kazoo and slide-whistle. The remainder of the players must sing the first verse of a common Christmas carol. The pair must then perform an instrumental duet of the song.

3. Each pair takes it in turn, with a different carol each round.

4. There are no winners or losers, just hilarious fun!

#2. CHRISTMAS CAROL RELAY
Players are divided into two teams. One team starts singing the first verse of a Christmas carol. As soon as they finish, the other team starts a different carol and so on. Teams cannot repeat a carol that has already been sung and have only five seconds to begin a new carol or they are out.
