Dotty Drawings

Dotty Drawings is a simple game, suitable for young children but amusing enough to provide a challenge for adults and older children.

Age: All ages

No. of players: 2 or more

Equipment: Paper and pen/pencil per player

Time: 5 minutes+

Aim: To create an unusual picture from six random dots.

1. Each player draws six random dots on their page. The pages are shuffled and handed out again. It does not matter if a player receives their own page back.

2. Players must use the dots to complete a picture of anything at all, such as unusual animals, a funny face, a landscape, a building, whatever. Players have only three minutes to finish their picture.

3. Players then take turns to show their drawing to everyone else. You may find a budding artist among your players or you may decide that Rembrandt has nothing to worry about. It's all about having fun!

Variation:
Instead of dots, each player can draw three random lines (straight or curved) or shapes for another player to complete. In this case, players should not complete their own page.
