Children all over the world love to run and chase each other. There are many variations of this game played throughout many countries. When I grew up we played a similar game called "Stuck in the Mud". This particular version is traditionally played in Mexico.

1. To play the game, mark out an area of play with boundaries.

2. Players form into two teams.

3. One team is chosen to chase the other team.

4. When a player touches someone from the other team he calls out 'Freeze'. The player must stand still and not move.

5. The player remains frozen until a player from his team comes and touches him and says 'Sun'. The the player is free to run again.

6. After 5 minutes swap over.

Alternative: This game can also be played with one person chasing all the other players. The remaining rules are the same.
