Turkey

Turkey is a fun team game for Thanksgiving parties.

Age: All ages

No. of players: Large groups

Equipment: Suitable materials such as; crepe paper, old nylon stockings, cardboard, coloured cloth, string, adhesive tape, plastic shopping bags, a roll of toilet paper, coloured marker pens, newspaper, scissors, etc.

Time: 5+ minutes

Aim: To be the team with the best decorated 'turkey'.

Before playing this game you will need to do some preparation by collecting materials that can be used to decorate the person. Sort the materials in to separate bags so that each team has their own collection of identical materials.

1. Players are divided into teams of four to six players.

2. Each team chooses one player to be dressed up to look like a turkey, using the materials provided.

3. At the end of five minutes, the teams must stop work. Teams then take turns parading their creation before the audience.

4. The audience can then choose their favourite creation by applauding louder and stronger.

Variations:
Easter Variation : Teams decorate a person as a bunny.

Christmas Variation: Can you dress a person as Santa or an Elf?
