Christmas Party Gift Exchange Games are a great way of making Christmas gift giving fun and exciting for everyone. You could also try "What's It Worth?" and "Left Right Christmas Game".

Age: All ages

No. of Players: small or large group

Equipment: Each guest brings one gift wrapped neatly in an old shoe box; Christmas music; CD player

Time: 10+ minutes

Aim: To have fun distributing gifts at a Christmas party.

1. Each person should bring a gift to an agreed value (for example, $10), suitable for males or females of any age, if possible. They should be wrapped neatly in an old shoe box (or similar) so all the gifts are identical.

2. Everyone chooses a present and then sits in a circle. Christmas music is played and everyone passes the gifts in a clockwise direction. When the music stops each person holds the gift they have at that time.

3. Players can choose to keep the gift they have and retire from the circle, or they may choose to stay and continue passing the gifts.

4. Players can choose to retire at the end of any round or they can choose to continue playing until the fifth round. At the end of the fifth round everyone opens their gift.

In Christmas Party Gift Exchange Game, players can exchange gifts once they have chosen their gift (unless a gift is totally inappropriate).
