What's My Name?

What's My Name? is a great favourite among adults and older children, although young children may also be able to play if the character identity is simple enough and they are given some hints.

Age: Adults and older children

No. of players: Large groups

Equipment: None

Time: 10 minutes+

Aim: The aim is to guess the identity of an unknown character by asking a series of questions.

1. One player leaves the room while the rest choose a character (real or fictitious, alive or dead) who is well known to everyone in the room. Some examples are; Julius Caesar, Mickey Mouse or Spiderman.

2. The first player returns and can ask the other players six questions in order to find out the character's identity. The other players can only answer "Yes", "No" or "I don't know".

3. If the player guesses the correct identity, they can try again with a new character chosen. Otherwise, a different player leaves the room for the next round.
