Candy Wrapper is a contest game to see who can make the longest continuous strip of paper out of their wrapper. This is a quick and easy game to organise and is a great party filler or parlor game.
Age: Adults and older children
No. of players: Any number
Equipment: Enough paper wrapped candies for each player
Time: 5+ minutes
Aim: To make the longest, unbroken strip of paper.
1. Give each player a candy. They carefully unwrap their candies and eat them.
2. While the players are eating their candies they carefully start tearing the wrapping paper. They start at the very outer edge and tear round and round as thinly as they can towards the middle, being very careful not to break their strip. It takes steady hands and a good eye, along with lots of patience, to ensure that the strip is as thin as possible without becoming so thin that it breaks.
3. The winner is the player who has the longest, unbroken strip of paper.
Easter Variation: Use Easter egg wrappers to play this game. Foil wrapped eggs may be harder to tear into thin strips so try to find paper wrapped eggs, if possible.
