Christmas Scavenger Hunt

A Christmas Scavenger Hunt is a wonderful game to play when your family or friends get together at Christmas time.

Age: All ages

No. of players: 4 or more players

Equipment: Scavenger hunt list for each player or team

Time: 10+ minutes

Aim: To collect the items on the list related to Christmas.

Christmas Scavenger Hunt can be played at home with your family and friends, or it could be part of a church or work Christmas party. There are 26 items to find, one for each letter of the alphabet. Some of the items may be a little obscure (can you think of a Christmas item starting with 'U'?), so feel free to change the list. You can set your own rules for the game, such as:

Will each person play by themselves against the other players, or will you play together as one (or more) teams?
Will you allow the items to be collected only from your home or can they be collected from neighbours or even purchased from stores?
Do you need to supply carry bags for the items?
If a player/team cannot find a particular item, can they substitute another Christmas-based item for the same letter?
