Yes No Beans is a wonderful parlor game to get to know other players. It is suitable for adults and older children and can be played at family reunions, Valentines Day parties and birthday parties.
Age: Adults and older children
No. of players: Large groups
Equipment: 5 beans (or other small item such as buttons, counters) for each player
Time: 10 minutes+
Aim: To be the first player to get rid of all their beans
This is a great icebreaker game for large groups, although it is fun for family gatherings, church parties and other occasions.
1. Each player is given five beans (or other similar, small items).
2. Players move around the room and talk to other players. During the conversation, players try to make the other player say either "Yes" or "No". Players can use alternative answers (such as "Not at the moment" instead of "No") but must give honest answers.
3. Any player who says "Yes or "No" must receive a bean from the player who asked the question.
4. The first player to give away all their beans wins the game.
